For KJ Academy second grade student Kristine Lester and her family, KJ Academy is a good fit because of the opportunity to participate in activities typically enjoyed in a traditional classroom, while also having increased flexibility, smaller class sizes, and more personalized learning.

“KJ Academy's online education program works for our family for the flexibility to be able to have our student study anywhere even if we have to be on the go,” Cecillia Lester, parent of Kristine Lester, said. “The structured education programs and class schedules let our family get studying and other opportunities completed throughout the school day.”

Though online, Kristine is not missing out on activities typically enjoyed in a traditional classroom.

Kristine listed P.E. class, community circle, reading time, and getting to meet other students as some of her favorite activities she enjoys throughout a day at KJ Academy.

“I get to go in breakout rooms to meet other kids, and I have a quiet place to do my work,” Kristine said.

Kristine and her family also appreciate that the teachers at KJ Academy offer individual support to students.

“A day at KJ Academy is well rounded and structured. The class sizes are kept in a range where the teachers are able to be more personable with the students and learn the students' individual traits and learning styles,” Cecilia said.
